Rockabilly español – Wax and Boogie. Desde Barcelona os presentamos esta grandiosa banda de Blues and Boogie Woogie. Aunque colaboran en muchas ocasiones con grandes figuras del género, a parte de Ster Wax (voz) y David Giorcelli (piano) ,se les suele unir un grandioso Reginald Vilardell a la batería y Oriol Fontanals al contrabajo.
Shuffles, boogie woogie, rock ‘n’ roll, swing o jumps son muchas de las influencias y estilos que se funden en las interpretaciones de este grupo. Wax and Boogie ha sabido captar como nadie la modalidad de blues que los negros del ‘south side’ desarrollaron en Chicago hace ya algunos decenios.
